Location: Sierra Madre Villa Debris Basin. The Arundo stand was recently almost entirely eradicated by mechanical grinding and uprooting and what appears to be the removal of 99% of the biomass. Unfortunately there are several root cluster remaining and the beginning of some regrowth. See pictures. I counted 5 nodes that have shoots from 4 to 18 inches high.
